History
Groovin Down the Yellow Brick Road was created in 2005 and mastered in 2010. This musical has been preformed as “The Wizard of Oz in 2006 at Thomas Nelson Community College, Groovetown in 2007 for Hampton City Schools, 2008 Groovin Down the Yellow Brick Road at The Moton Community House and 2009 Groovin Down the Yellow Brick Road at The Downing Performing Arts Center. There are also 5 skits with duration of 5 minutes the youth perform for community events, concerts, shows and much more. We are all over Hampton Roads VA. Giving free hair cuts, community mentoring.
“Groovin Down the Yellow Brick Road” musical program made it to the Daily Press Newspaper “MUSICAL GIVES 'WIZARD OF OZ' AN URBAN FEEL NEWPORT NEWS” and The Voice and Viewpoint Newspaper in San Diego CA. “GROOVIN DOWN THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD TO STOP THE VIOLENCE”.
As our journey continues in San Diego we have performed for the 4 different news channels, been a feature performance for the Chief of Polices Anti-Bullying Awareness Presentation for the families of Southeast San Diego, performances at the Kumba Fest 2013, Juneteenth Cooper Family Foundation, United States of America Presidential Volunteer Awards Program, Gun Violence Prevention March, Morse High School and much more.

We are located in Hampton Roads Virginia and San Diego California. We provide programs from Mentoring youth and adults to Providing Community Programs. Our movement was put in place to STOP the VIOLENCE within all of our neighborhoods.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide your communities youth and ours the opportunity to experience educational entertainment. We will provide your youth with the opportunity to learn the stage, be on the stage and create the stage through our Community Performing Arts Programs.

Our programs are not just about dancing and singing. It's about integrity, loyalty and setting goals. It's about new friends, advancement in self, school and life. We design a fun new way for youth to experience the do's and the do not's through Theater. All of our youth get to perform in front of a live audience. Some will get the opportunity to travel to different states and perform.
